Create your own league night with a few simple steps. EZ Leagues create a league atmosphere with out all of the hassle of a traditional league. Use the EZ League creation mode to set the day of the week, the prize(s), the cost, the league name, and the location. The system will handle the rest.
On the league night that you designate, a league button will appear on your game for the entire day. Any player that comes to your game can choose to join the league right at the game. The player will play through a full adventure of a predetermined animal and his high score will be ranked in a league leaderboard. The animal will be the same the entire day and will change the following week until all of the animals have been used. An EZ League for Big Buck Hunter Pro Open Season will last 9 weeks and for Big Buck Safari will last 8 weeks (one week for each animal).
Every player that plays in the league night will rank in the leaderboard. Players can play as many times as they would like that night and their best score will count. At the end of league night (11:59PM on the selected day) the player with the highest score will be declared the winner and will receive 25 points toward his league standings. The player in 2nd place will receive 20 points to his league standings and on down the line for all of the players that competed that night.
In the EZ League creation mode you can choose to give a nightly prize to each week's winner. This will motivate players to play in the current week's competition even though they may not be able to finish the entire league mode. If a player can win something that night, he is more likely to play. You can choose any prize that you would like to give away. We suggest using the Big Buck Promotional Cards because they are cheaper than a full priced prize and force the player to play your game again. You can buy 9 of them (8 for Big Buck Safari - one for each week) in the amount of $20 (or whatever you choose) and give them to the bar manager to present to the winner each night.
The league standings are a cumulative leaderboard of all of the league points that players have accumulated. If player A gets 1st place (25 league points) in the first and second weeks of leagues, then his League Standing Points will be 50 and he will be in first place. Players will be able to see their Weekly Standings and Overall League Standings at the game and at the player website.
A grand prize will be given away to the top player(s) from the overall league standings. You will be able to choose the prize and a portion of the money from each play will be taken off the top to fund this grand prize pool. You will be able to adjust that amount in the EZ League creation mode.
